Over 10 years of proven reliability. The Frio Insulated Wallet contains crystals activated by immersion in cold water and maintains its low temperature for a minimum of 45 hours through the evaporation of the water. Great in hot weather!!! These insulated wallets have been used in temperatures in excess of 120°F with complete success. Tests prove that the insulated wallets retain their contents at around 25°C (77°F-79°F) for a minimum of 45 hours per immersion period in a constant environmental temperature of 38°C (100°F)
Cleaning & Storage
When not in use, remove the inner wallet from the outer cover and allow to dry out naturally until the gel returns to its crystal form. To keep the crystals separate, gently shake the wallet when drying. The drying period can take 2-4 weeks depending on the size of the bag and the climate.

large insulated wallet
I am so happy to find a practical answer to storing my teenage son's epi-pen safely yet discreetly! This bag is easy to use, doesn't scream medicine and lasts at least a few days at a time keeping his epi-pen at a safe temperature so he doesn't have to fuss with it as much as other things we've tried. Customer service was great and the item arrived when promised. I can relax when he's out at work or at his tennis tournaments that he will actually use this and keep his medicine with him, thank you!

Works as advertised
I've only used it once so far, but it kept the pens cool to the touch in the summer heat. If anything it worked too well in my humid climate; the pouch was still holding moisture for several days afterwards. Thank you for your review. Works exactly as advertised
We have had Epi-pens for almost a decade now, but I never knew this type of product existed until my daughter started attending outdoor-only camp during the COVID era. Thank you for providing an easy option to keep her medication safe during a full day in 90+ degree temperatures!

Great product
Impressive and helpful insulation for.my son's epi pens. Bought it for summer anticipating road trips and days at the lake. I've had it for about one and a half weeks now and like it. It's easy to keep activated with just rinsing it in cold water or soaking it for a few minutes. My one complaint is once the beads are activated and the wallet is all puffy, only two-three epi pens fit, not four as advertised. I couldn't fit two epi pens and liquid benadryl all together.

Insulated Wallet
This wallet works great for my daughter. She is involved in sports and spends time in gyms that aren't air conditioned and outside in the sun. This wallet does a great job keeping her Epi-pen from getting too hot. We also used it on a Caribbean cruise and while at the beach/pool.

Great product!!
I was always concerned about heat with my 5 year old son's epi pens, and struggled to make sure they didn't get damaged by heat or cold. The FRIO Wallet has really eased my mind. We just had a record 99 degree heatwave(that's hot for our area!) today and I didn't have to worry about a thing, even though we were outside all day....keeps the Epi's in their safe temperature range. Very easy to activate with water and stays activated for several days!!

Staying active outdoors!
This large insulated wallet makes it possible for my son to take his epi-pens with him to sports events & on Boy Scout outings (hiking, canoe trips, camping, etc) in a safe manner that makes us all feel more relieved. We ordered two to start off with & have added more since. The wallet will hold two adult size epi-pens safely when used according to the directions. Do pay attention to the care instructions in the pamphlet & make sure others know not to put the wallet in an enclosed container or the outer cover will get moldy. It would be nice if the outer cover was sold separately.

Wallet worked great!
We used the large wallet for my son's epipens when we went to the beach this last weekend. It worked great! We were able to fit 3 epis in it to keep in our beach bag safely. I did re-soak it once while we were there and after that could only fit 2 pens, but it was great at the beach and even in a hot car for several hours!
