Allergy Apparel Allergy and Asthma Awareness Scholarship

Allergy Awareness Honorarium

At Allergy Apparel, we believe in the power of real stories to create awareness and connection. As a mom of a child with life-threatening food allergies, I understand the challenges—and the strength—it takes to live with allergies or asthma.

While the official Allergy Scholarship Program is currently on pause, we’re still passionate about supporting students who are helping raise awareness.

Here’s how it works:

We offer a $100 honorarium to students who are willing to share their food allergy or asthma journey in a written piece.

There’s also a $50 bonus if you include a short 2–3 minute video alongside your story.

Who Can Participate

  • High school or current college students

  • Diagnosed with food allergies or asthma

  • Willing to share a personal (non-AI) story to help educate and support others

What to Submit

  • A written story, article, or creative piece (Google Doc preferred). AI written pieces will NOT be accepted!

  • Optional: a short 2–3 minute video

  • That’s it—no applications, transcripts, or letters of recommendation needed

How to Submit

  • Email a Google Doc link (set to “anyone with the link can view”) to info@allergyapparel.com

  • Include:
      • Your name

      • School name and grade/year

      • A few sentences about why you’re passionate about food allergy awareness

There’s no deadline—submissions are accepted year-round!

Where Your Story May Be Shared

Selected stories may be featured on the Allergy Apparel blog, in our newsletter, and across social media to help spread awareness and support others in the allergy community.

A Quick Note

Allergy Apparel is a mom-owned small business, and I’m managing this program personally—so please allow a little time for review and payment processing. If your story is selected, I’ll reach out directly. I appreciate your patience and understanding!
